Ordering, Shipping, & Returns

Ordering Information

There are several ways to order candles you see here on this website. They are as follows:

1. Place order direct through the site.
Under each product you'll see our "Buy Now" button. Click on that button to add the product to your virtual shopping cart. At any time you can view your cart or check out by using the links above the products on our product page. We do use PayPal, which is a secure method and you are able to pay with funds from your PayPal account (if you have one) or by Credit Card.

Please note: Our PayPal account is listed under the business name "Mom's Market", which is another website owned by Kara Kelso, co-owner of Prairie Soy Candles and Vanilla Candles.

2. Call us at 641-521-9143 to place your order.
Please note we are not able to accept credit cards by phone at this time, but we are able to accept money orders and checks. If you would like to call and place and order, we can send you a PayPal invoice via email to pay by credit card. Also note for money orders and checks must be cleared before the products are sent, which could take up to 1-2 weeks.

3. Email us at contact@momsmarketonline.com.
Orders placed by email can either be paid by check or money order, or from a payment request via PayPal. Please note we can not take credit card information via email without using PayPal.

Note: Again, we accept credit cards online only via PayPal, but cannot accept them by phone or email. We can send a PayPal invoice via email though.


SHIPPING INFORMATION

We use either UPS or USPS, whichever will get your package to you in timely manner at the lowest cost. Our shipping is set to use flat rate boxes for USPS, but we may use UPS for larger orders. Please be sure to check your shipping address to include both PO Box and Street Address so that we can get your package to you the quickest and most cost effective way.

Since all orders are handmade when ordered, please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery. We will notify you when payment has been received and also the item has been shipped. If you mail a check (which IS accepted), understand this increases the delivery time. We will start working on your order, but hold it until the check has cleared. Usually there is no extra time involved with checks, but for small orders there can be.


RETURN POLICY

Because we are a small, family run business, we pride ourselves on our customer service. If at any time you have a question or concern, please feel free to contact us.

While we take our time and try to pack the products as best as we possibly can, accidents do happen and something can break during shipping. If at any time you receive a candle that is broken, cracked, or otherwise unusable, please return the package to us immediately (within 14 days). You will be reimbursed your shipping cost, and be given credit for another candle in our store or a replacement if we have another similar in stock. Returns will be handled on a case-by-case matter.

Returns will not be granted if you simply do not like the scent. While we do take care to offer only quality scents, not everyone likes the same. If you are unsure about a certain scent (such as a special blend), please feel free to contact us to request a smaller size candle if not available in a small size on the site.

Also please keep in mind that some scents will be stronger than others. We use the most scent as possible we safely can, and some scents will not be as strong as others. Scents are measured by weight, and since some scents are heavier that others there will be less amounts of some scents in candles. Adding more scent is not safe, so we will only add the maximum amount to our candles. It's also possible for there to be environmental issues that prevent you from smelling certain scents in your house. Please be sure to factor these in when you are burning any scented candles.
