Each jar is handpoured when ordered. We use only 100% soy wax, beeswax, and fragrance oil in all of our candles. Absolutely dye and additive free! Choice of any vanilla type scents for all candles, with an extra scent choice on the Coca Cola Glasses (can you guess what it is?).

We accept check, money order, and credit card via PayPal. Our PayPal account is a verified business account under the business name "Mom's Market", which is another website owned by Kara Kelso (co-owner of Prairie Soy Candles and Vanilla Candles).
When burning any of our candles, please be sure to follow all candle safety rules. Since all candles have a "memory", the first time you light your candle you will want to let it burn until the melted wax is completely across the top of the jar. If you blow it out too soon, it will "tunnel", or burn down the middle leaving wax on the sides. On average, give your candle at least 3-4 hours to burn the first time it's lit.

8oz & 12oz Jelly Jar Candles Each jelly jar has a quilted design glass jar, with a 2 piece fruit basket design lid. This style is often refered to as our "tall" design, because the jars are taller than they are wide. The opening is also smaller than other types of containers with wider "mouths". Two different sizes are available for the Quilted, Tall Jelly Jars - 8oz and 12oz. Pictured to the left are 12oz jars, although the 8oz looks nearly identical. Tealights & Melts Tealights come in plastic cups and burn for up to 10 hours, depending on scent. We've had customers tell us one tealight has lasted for an entire day! Since there is only about 1/2 ounce of wax and scent, tealights are sold in packs of 10. Melts have no wicks, and are used with melt warmers (or often called "tart burners"). The scent of a melt will last anywhere from 1 day up to 4 days, depending on the scent. The strength of the scent really doesn't have much to do with the amount of time the melt lasts, and all scents behave differently. Votive Holders & Stands Our votive holders are not just empty holders. Instead, each are filled with our natural soy wax and your choice of scent. Votives are available in several different colors (see picture of 5), and stands can be added to your order. Some of the colors may vary slightly in shades. "Blue" is the light blue you see to your left in the picture with all the votives, and "Purple" is either dark purple or a violet, depending on if there are additional votives ordered. The violet looks better when with other colors like green and red, while the dark purple looks better on it's own. The wrought iron stand pictured holds three votives, which can be taken out and replaced with any of our votive holders. When purchasing the stand, please be sure to order three votives to go along with it since they aren't included with the price of the stand! Teddy Bear Jars Filled with 9oz of our natural soy wax and beeswax, these little bears are aboslutely adorable and make perfect gifts. Teddy Bear collectors love these jars since they fit with the decor. We've seen others just like them at craft shows with dyed candles that just didn't look as good. Our Teddy Bears Jar candles have NO DYE, so you only see the creamy white candle inside. The picture shown is of two teddy bears that are already filled with wax and scent.
